**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Implementation and Configuration**
- Customize policies and rules to align with the organization's security posture and compliance requirements.
- **Monitoring and Incident Response**
- Investigate and analyze security incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for remediation.
- **Threat Intelligence and Analysis**
- **Maintenance and Support**
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of Proofpoint solutions.
- **Training and Awareness**
- Create awareness materials and conduct phishing simulation exercises to enhance the organization's security culture.
- **Reporting and Documentation**
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response actions.
- **Technical Skills**
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Proficiency in threat intelligence analysis and incident response.
- **Certifications**
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Proofpoint-specific certifications are a plus.
- **Soft Skills**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
