**Job Summary**:
The Medical Device Maintenance Work Executive is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of medical devices within a healthcare facility or medical device manufacturing company. This role involves ensuring that medical equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and serviced to meet regulatory requirements and ensure patient safety.

**Responsibilities**:
**Equipment Maintenance: Travelling between all Mumbai clinics.**

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on medical devices and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory guidelines.

Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of medical equipment.

Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and calibration adjustments.

Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes.

Coordinate with manufacturers or third-party service providers for complex repairs or replacements as needed.

Implement corrective actions to resolve equipment failures and minimize downtime.

Calibration and Testing:
Calibrate medical devices and instruments to ensure accurate measurements and functionality.

Perform performance testing and quality assurance checks to verify compliance with standards and regulations.

Maintain calibration records and documentation for auditing purposes.

Inventory Management:
Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for equipment maintenance and repair.

Monitor stock levels, reorder supplies, and maintain organized storage of equipment components.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of necessary materials.

Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485).

Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.

Prepare documentation for audits and inspections by regulatory agencies or accreditation bodies.

Training and Support:
Provide training and support to medical staff on proper use, handling, and maintenance of medical devices.

Develop instructional materials and conduct training sessions to educate end-users on equipment best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Serve as a resource for staff inquiries related to equipment functionality and maintenance.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related field.

2 to 3 years of experience in medical device maintenance, repair, or biomedical equipment technician role.

Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, such as FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485.

Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
