As a Fabric Merchandiser, your primary responsibility will be to source and manage fabrics for various production needs. This role involves negotiation with suppliers, quality control, inventory management, and staying updated with market trends to ensure the best materials are procured.

**Responsibilities**:

- Source and procure fabrics based on design requirements and market trends.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and terms.
- Maintain and manage fabric inventory levels.
- Perform quality control checks on fabrics received from suppliers.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to meet fabric requirements.
- Analyze market trends to forecast future fabric needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fabric merchandising or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrics, têxtiles, and market trends.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
