**CIS DBA Level B2 - Beginner**

**Qualification**
- Good knowledge of **Unix** and **windows** platform.
- Preliminary experience (1 year+) in supporting environments hosted on **Unix** **based** **platforms**.
- Basic knowledge on **Oracle core databases**.
- Good understanding with concepts of **RDBMS**.
- Basic understanding of **Oracle DBA** activities like **backup/recovery methods**, Oracle architecture and request flow in database.
- Basic understanding of **Oracle E-Business Suite** administration activities.
- Knowledge of **incident and change management** process & tools such as **Service Desk or Service Now**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong delivery focus with ability to multi-task
- **Flexibility to work in various shifts supporting 24X7 environments**.

**Responsibility**
- Daily support of **Oracle E-business Suite Application support and Oracle Database support activities**.
- Monitoring to **E-Business Suite** Application Servers and services.
- Participate in providing **24X7 support** supporting and administrating **RHEL Linux** hosted databases.
- Manage system as a portfolio. For example, tracking and managing work plan for the systems to ensure key deliverables are met and communicating to stakeholders about status.
- Monitoring the Workflow mailer and notification queues and fix if any issues/delay in processing the WF notification.
- Managing Concurrent queues and Parallel Concurrent Processing
- Analyzing the Log Files, Thread Dumps and JVM Dumps
- Pro-actively work with Prod Support Team, Project Teams to provide planning and ongoing support for Application Life cycle managemental alerts.
- Create and maintain technical operation documents.
- Incident Management & Technical Assistance including Production and Performance diagnostics, technology assessments and troubleshooting day-to-day issues.
- Weekend Bounce, Maintenance, and on-call Support for Production changes
- Sanity testing of EBS Technology Stack components on regular basis.
- Creating Severity TARs/SR and conduct OWC sessions with Oracle support to resolve issues.

**Good to Have**
- Knowledge of OCI and its components
- Good academic record & strong communication skills
- Demonstrated high energy levels in colleges and multi-tasking activities such as project work, online trainings, self-development, etc.
