**Job Title: Finance Controller/ Manager**

**Job Summary**:
The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing an organization's financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, compliance with relevant regulations, and efficient financial management. They work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Reporting:

- Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping.
- issue invoices to customers regularly
- Ensure timely payment of payroll and suppliers
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure financial reports are accurate, timely, and in compliance with accounting standards

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop and manage the annual budget.
- Provide financial forecasts and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
- Monitor and control expenses to align with budgetary goals.

3. Financial Analysis:

- Analyze financial data and provide insights to the management team.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in financial performance.
- Make recommendations for improving financial performance.

4. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax laws.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate audits.

5. Internal Controls:

- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Implement and monitor financial policies and procedures.

6. Cash Flow Management:

- Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.
- Invest surplus funds prudently.

7. Team Management:

- Supervise and lead the finance and accounting team.
- Provide training and mentorship to staff.

9. Financial Systems and Technology:

- Evaluate, select, and implement financial software and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on emerging financial technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Chartered Accountant with minimum experience of 3 years
- Several years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
