**Position Overview** : This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Assistant. The Tax Assistant will work closely with Senior Associates on tax compliance work, preparation and filing of tax returns, basic accounting work, and payroll administration. The Tax Assistant will also assist in the preparation of financial statements and provide general support to the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance to clients in preparing and filing their taxes accurately and timely.
- Conduct tax consultations to assess client needs and determine the most suitable tax solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in tax preparation.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide expert advice on tax-related matters.
- Assist clients in resolving tax issues, including audits, notices, and disputes with tax authorities.
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement tax strategies that minimize tax liabilities for clients.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive financial data.
- Keep accurate records of client interactions and tax-related activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Tax Preparation and Compliance knowledge
- Working knowledge of Accounting Software,
- Familiarity with Financial Statements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience in a tax or accounting related role is a plus

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
