
Urgent Hiring asst. Purchase Officer

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sourcing and Supplier Management**:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain a database of approved suppliers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best pricing and quality.
- **Purchasing Process**:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
- Ensure that purchase orders are accurately placed and confirmed.
- Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that procurement needs are met.
- **Budget and Cost Control**:
- Assist in budget preparation and cost analysis.
- Monitor and control procurement expenses to ensure they are within budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and market conditions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement.
- **Compliance and Risk Management**:
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement processes.
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Assist in inventory audits and reconciliations.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field. Fresh graduates with relevant internships may also be considered.
- **Skills**:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing information.
