**Role Description**:
The Warehouse Incharge will be responsible for planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service of multiple units present in three Towns. They need to work closely with various departments, including HR, finance, and IT, to support staff development, improve processes, and drive business performance. Maximise processes and procedures to deliver highest customer service at optimum cost.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Streamlining operations**
Ensure that a company's resources are used efficiently and effectively to achieve its strategic goals. They may develop and implement operational procedures and policies, analyse and improve organizational processes, and strategize process improvements.
**Quality control**
Manage quality assurance programs and ensure that goods and products are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards. Implement best practices for inventory control to minimize discrepancies and losses
**People management**
Supervise, hire, and train employees, and deal with employee concerns. Support staff development and adherence to workplace standards. Provide training and development opportunities for team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
**Financial management**
Manage budgets and forecasts, prepare and analyse financial reports, and identify cost-cutting opportunities.
**Strategic planning**
Anticipate and track operational and tactical risks, and provide strategic solutions. Work closely with the principal company and their sales teams to help set and meet goals.
**Relationship Management**:
Maintain strong relationships with customers, clients and vendors and ensure their requirements are met. Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly & provide periodic updates.
**Compliance and Safety**:
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to warehousing and transportation. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of operations.
**Requirements**:
- Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Good communication skills
