**Sports Content Writer**

Our company is in need of an enthusiastic sports fan and consummate writer to help us cover the exciting world of sports. Do you want to make a career by reporting on and analyzing the latest developments in the professional sports industry? Then you should join our team.

As a Sports Writer, you will meet a daily quota of well-researched and judiciously edited content on the latest news in Badminton, Cricket, Football, Tennis, Volleyball.
Working with our editorial staff, you will manage assigned topics and, as needed, pitch articles that you believe would be of value to our readers. When assigned topics, you will research their details and draft compelling writing that informs and draws in our readers. You will incorporate all notes and feedback from the editorial team in the review process and produce finalized immaculately composed, and highly informative articles.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Writing and editing content free of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and contextual errors about the sports world on a daily basis.

2. Staying up to date with the latest news in sports.

3. Researching your assigned topics in detail and identifying and incorporating relevant sources.

4. Coordinating with our content team to identify new story ideas.

5. Reviewing and incorporating feedback from editors into subsequent written work.

6. Working within proposed content creation deadlines.

7. Researching and writing high-quality content like product descriptions, user manuals, website content, etc and posting on the required platforms.

8. Writing attractive and catchy Captions, Copywriting,

9. Optimizing content for search engines using keywords, meta tags and other
SEO techniques.

10. Collaborating with other teams like designers and developers to align content with the company’s brand.

11. Measuring the content’s success by tracking KPIs like website traffic and conversions.

12. Creating and executing a content calendar.

13. Reviewing, editing and proofreading content.

**Requirements**:
1. Previous experience in professional sports writing

2. 3-5 samples of published work

3. Knowledge of Associated Press style

4. Enthusiasm for writing

5. Engaging writing style that blends information with an interesting tone

6. Editing experience is considered a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
