**Position Overview**:
The School Transport Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily transportation needs of a school, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of students to and from the campus. This role involves overseeing transport schedules, maintaining compliance with safety standards, managing staff, and liaising with parents and school administration.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Transportation Management**:
- Plan, develop, and implement transport schedules to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students.
- Coordinate routes to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency while prioritizing student safety.
2. **Compliance and Safety**:
- Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory standards, including regular inspections and maintenance.
- Implement safety protocols, including driver training and student safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, licenses, and insurance.
3. **Staff Supervision**:
- Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and transport staff.
- Address staff concerns and ensure adherence to school policies and safety standards.
- Monitor driver performance and manage schedules to prevent overwork.
4. **Parent and School Liaison**:
- Communicate transportation policies and updates to parents and school staff.
- Handle parent concerns or complaints regarding transportation services.
- Collaborate with school administration to address logístical challenges.
5. **Emergency Response**:
- Develop contingency plans for emergencies such as breakdowns, delays, or adverse weather conditions.
- Act promptly to resolve transportation-related incidents, ensuring mínimal disruption.
6. **Technology and Reporting**:
- Use GPS tracking and fleet management systems to monitor vehicle movement.
- Generate reports on transportation efficiency, safety incidents, and maintenance schedules.
- **Experience**:
- Prior experience in School transportation, preferably in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with local transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Known all information from RTO guideline of School Transport
- **Key Skills**:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using transportation management software and basic office tools.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
