- Ensure daily reconciliations are completed accurately and timely, meeting working day timetable requirements
- Ensure reconciling items are followed up and resolved promptly
- Ensure end of day banking process are carried out timely and accurately
- Review procedures to ensure are up to date
- Ensure corrective actions identified as a result of incidents, breaches, near misses and external audits are fully completed and effectively embedding into the relevant operational team’s processes.
- Assist in preparing regular management information on key risk areas and controls.
- To encourage the team to identify opportunities to re-engineer processes, reorganise or absorb work, to constantly improve the service such that efficiency continues to improve, whilst keeping within budget
- To assist in any audits taking place and clear any audit points that are raised within the timescale given.
- Manage individual’s performance, coach and provide regular feedback.
- Review weekly and monthly management information
- To manage escalated queries.
- Contribute towards departmental and company-wide projects when required
