Laundry Worker

**Job Title: Laundry WorkerJob Summary**:
The Laundry Worker is responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and ironing clothes, linens, and other têxtiles. They ensure that laundry items are properly handled, cleaned according to fabric type, and returned in good condition. This role may be in a commercial laundry facility, hotel, hospital, or residential care setting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sort and classify laundry items by color, fabric, and cleaning technique.
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry machinery according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Pre-treat stains and inspect garments or linen for damage.
- Fold, hang, or package clean laundry items for delivery or storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors.
- Keep records of cleaned items and complete required documentation.
- Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with inventory of laundry supplies and notify when stock is low.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or janitorial experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.
- Good attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
