**Summary Position : Merchandise **for Leather Footwear

**Location: Agra, Uttar Pradesh**

**Salary Range**: ₹‎15,000 - ₹‎30,000 per annum (based on experience)

**Experience**: 6 months to 2 years

**Education**:Master's degree preferred

**Language Requirement**: Proficiency in English required

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team a leading manufacturer of leather footwear. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production of leather footwear, from concept to delivery, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with design and production teams to develop new leather footwear designs that meet market trends and customer demands.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for materials, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Create and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of orders.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Communicate with clients regarding order status, product specifications, and any issues that may arise during production.
- Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Prepare and present reports on production status, sales trends, and other relevant metrics to management.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in business, fashion, merchandising, or related field.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the leather footwear industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of leather footwear production processes and materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
