**Job description**

The Photo Printing Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining photo printing equipment to produce high-quality photographic prints. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency with printing software and hardware, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve printing issues. The Photo Printing Operator will work closely with the production team to ensure that all prints meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operate Photo Printing Equipment**: Set up and operate photo printers, including large-format printers, dye-sublimation printers, and inkjet printers, to produce photographic prints of various sizes and formats.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect prints for color accuracy, clarity, and overall quality. Ensure that all prints meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations.
- **Color Management**: Adjust and calibrate printers for optimal color reproduction. Work with color profiles and settings to ensure accurate color matching and consistency across prints.
- **File Preparation**: Prepare digital files for printing, including resizing, cropping, color correction, and retouching as needed. Ensure files are properly formatted and ready for printing.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance on printers and other printing equipment, including cleaning, replacing consumables, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels of printing materials such as paper, ink, and other consumables. Order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve technical issues with printing equipment and software. Collaborate with technical support teams if necessary to minimize downtime.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of print jobs, including job specifications, production time, and materials used. Ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- **Customer Interaction**: Interact with customers to understand their printing needs and provide advice on print options, materials, and finishes. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and production.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or a related field preferred.
- Experience operating photo printing equipment, including large-format and dye-sublimation printers.
- Proficiency with photo editing and printing software, such as Adobe Photoshop and RIP software.
- Strong understanding of color theory, color management, and print production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with printing equipment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
