To manage Purchase for an HVAC contracting company, will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for HVAC projects. This role ensures that all purchases are made in a cost-effective and timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:Procurement:Source and evaluate suppliers for HVAC equipment, materials, and supplies.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs.Maintain accurate records of inventory and procurement activities.Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and ensure availability of materials.

Vendor Management:Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular audits.Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.Cost Control:Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.Monitor and report on procurement budgets and expenditures.

Compliance:Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.Maintain documentation for audits and compliance reviews.Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to understand project requirements.Coordinate with logistics for the timely delivery of materials to job sites.Provide support for urgent procurement needs during projects.

Prefer Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of HVAC systems and components is a plus.
