Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (FMCG/Snack Category)

Location: Pune, Mumbai

Experience: 10+ years

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
✔ Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve primary & secondary sales targets.

✔ Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.

✔ Ensure effective product placement and visibility across retail and distribution channels.

✔ Build strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and stockists.

2. Distribution & Channel Management:
✔ Develop and manage a strong distributor network to ensure market penetration.

✔ Monitor distributor performance and ensure stock availability.

✔ Drive schemes and promotions to boost sales at the distributor and retailer levels.

3. Collection & Financial Management:
✔ Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from distributors and retailers.

✔ Minimize outstanding dues and improve cash flow management.

✔ Maintain healthy credit terms while reducing bad debts.

4. Market Research & Competition Analysis:
✔ Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.

✔ Provide insights for product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies.

5. Team Leadership & Performance Management:
✔ Recruit, train, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASM) and Sales Executives.

✔ Set clear sales targets and track performance metrics.

✔ Conduct regular training sessions and market visits to improve team efficiency.

Key Requirements:
Industry Experience: FMCG (Snacks) / Food Industry background is a must.

Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of Primary & Secondary Sales, Distribution, and Collections.

Team Management: Experience leading sales teams and managing distributors.

Analytical Skills: Ability to track market trends and optimize sales strategies.

Negotiation & Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and data analytics for sales tracking.
