Primary Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of a lab technician is to perform tests, experiments, and analyses in a laboratory
Key Responsibilities- Collect soil, concrete, aggregate, and water samples from project sites- Perform standard laboratory to determine material properties.- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration for accurate results- Accurately record test results and maintain detailed logs for project documentation- Assist in ensuring construction materials meet LGED and project specifications- Provide on-site testing and support during construction activities when needed.- Follow all lab safety procedures and environmental guidelines.- Prepare and submit test reports to engineers and supervisors for review and action
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience- Diploma in Civil Engineering- Minimum 5 years of experience- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar field
