**Roles and Responsibility**
- Selected Assistant Professor should give tutoring and academic counselling to students at par with other institutions.
- Assisting their colleagues in various research activities and course materials.
- Should have excellent teaching skills along with innovative teaching methodologies.
- Give proper mentoring to students and should be able to clarify all their doubts.
- Lead projects for funding in areas of R&D work, laboratory development, etc.,
- Mobilisation of resources for the Institution.
- Designing and executing good extension programmes and establish Industrial Connectivity for the benefit of enrolled students.
- Provide R & D support and consultancy services to Industry and other user agencies.
- Provide non-formal modes of education for the benefits of the Community.
- Promote Entrepreneurship and Job rotation.
- Disseminate knowledge through different Teaching Pedagogies.
- Provide support in areas of social relevance.
- Must Oversee the overall assessment program and ensure that relevant accreditation standards are followed and maintained.
