**Job Description**:
- Oversee the administration of SOC infrastructure, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection platforms, and other security tools.
- Ensure the SOC’s monitoring and security tools are properly maintained, updated, and optimized for peak performance.
- Coordinate with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement security measures and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop and maintain SOC operational procedures, including documentation for tool configuration, system maintenance, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage upgrades and patches for security tools and infrastructure.
- Assist in the integration of new security technologies and tools into the SOC environment.
- Conduct periodic security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to SOC analysts and engineers.
- Participate in the development and testing of SOC automation and orchestration capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, technologies, and trends to recommend improvements to SOC strategies and tools.
