**JOb Responsibilities**:
This role is multi-faceted being proactive in ensuring that UPL IT Infrastructure is secure, protected and up to date in the face of known and emerging cyber threats and ‘fit for purpose’, contributing to resolution (and avoidance) to security issues and problems affecting the IT Security tools and IT Infrastructure, performance and availability, undertaking to ensure all IT Security tools and the IT Infrastructure, Virtual Data Centre environment and WAN/LAN are secured and following IT Security controls and Policies. Key activities include:

- Manage and configure security tools such as Privileged Identity & Access Management, IDAM, EDR/XDR, Data loss prevention and Network Access Control, Intrusion detection/prevention systems and solutions to ensure optimal performance and protection.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify and classify sensitive data and ensure proper access controls and encryption are in place.
- Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, and continuously evaluate and improve security solutions and processes.
- Provide regular security reports and metrics to management and stakeholders, highlighting security risks and issues, and recommending remediation actions.
- Participate in security-related projects and initiatives and contribute to overall IT security strategy and roadmap.
- Collaborate with external security vendors and partners as needed, to ensure timely delivery of security services and solutions.
- Conduct periodic data security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in data storage, transmission, and processing.
- Implement and enforce access controls to ensure that only authorized users can access sensitive data.
- Develop and maintain DR, BCP to ensure the availability of critical data and systems in case of emergencies and maintain an inventory of endpoint devices to ensure that all endpoints are accounted for and up to date.
- Responsible for providing support during off hours in an on-call rotation.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- MBA/M.Tech/B.tech. with specialization in IT/Information Security from Premier Institute.
- 6-9 of relevant experience in Infrastructure security.
- Good Communication skills both written and Oral and sound Presentation skills.
- Quick Learner, Strong analytical, problem-solving, excellent communication (Written and Oral) and interpersonal skills with an eagerness to explore and learn new technology domains
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
