**Key Responsibilities**:

- Banking Transaction Analysis & Modeling
- Develop machine learning models to analyze banking transactions, identify spending patterns, and assess financial behavior.
- Build alternative credit scoring models using transactional data and behavioral analytics.
- Detect fraudulent activities and financial anomalies using AI-driven techniques.
- Data Engineering & Infrastructure
- Work with structured and unstructured financial data from banking APIs, Open Banking frameworks, and credit bureaus.
- Design and optimize data pipelines for real-time analytics and credit decisioning.
- Implement data normalization and classification techniques for unstructured banking statements.
- Risk Assessment & Predictive Analytics
- Develop risk models that align with regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, KYC, Basel II/III).
- Leverage alternative data sources (e.g., mobile money transactions, digital footprints) for enhanced financial profiling.
- Regulatory Compliance & Explainable AI
- Ensure models meet regulatory standards and industry best practices for financial data usage.
- Develop explainable AI models for transparent credit decisioning.
- Collaborate with compliance and product teams to enhance data-driven lending solutions.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in data science, specializing in banking transactions, credit scoring, or financial modeling.
- Strong expertise in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost).
- Hands-on experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep understanding of banking transactions, payment processing, and financial data structures.
- Experience working with Open Banking APIs, PSD2 compliance, and financial data aggregators.
- Strong knowledge of risk modeling, fraud detection, and credit analysis methodologies.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with alternative credit scoring models using behavioral data.
- Knowledge of graph analytics for fraud detection and AML compliance.
- Experience integrating AI-driven financial solutions into banking ecosystems.

This role requires a proactive individual with a strong analytical mindset, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights to drive our financial products and services.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹62,000.00 per month
