**Requirements**:

- Expertise with Social Sciences (History, Political Science, & Geography) concepts/topics at school level (ICSE/CBSE)
- Experience as Social Sciences (History, Political Science, & Geography) teacher at school level (ICSE/CBSE)
- Proficiency/fluency in English language (writing, speaking and reading)
- 1 to 2 years of experience with teaching ICSE/CBSE Social Sciences (SS) content
- BEd. degree is required
- Freshers with BA and MA in History or Geography or Humanities degrees are welcome
- Acute attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to relocate to Visnagar, Gujarat
- Basic knowledge, skills and working functionality awareness for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong work ethic and high work quality standards

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and delivering engaging Social Sciences lessons aligned with curriculum standards for various grade levels, covering history, geography and civics.
- Adapting instructional methods and materials to meet the developmental needs of students.
- Creating a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and respectful dialogue about diverse cultures, perspectives, and historical events.
- Using a variety of teaching strategies, including project-based learning, storytelling, visual aids, technology integration, and group activities.
- Assessing student understanding through formative and summative assessments and providing timely, constructive feedback.
- Differentiating instruction to support diverse learning styles, abilities, and language backgrounds.
- Encouraging active citizenship by connecting lessons to current events, civic responsibilities, and global awareness.
- Integrating cross-curricular themes such as literacy, art, and digital research skills into Social Studies lessons.
- Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to plan interdisciplinary units and school-wide projects.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, attendance, and academic performance.
- Communicating regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom updates.
- Participating in school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities related to social sciences and community engagement.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, content updates, and educational tools.
- Upholding school policies and fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
- Communicating deadlines, timelines, lead times and priorities to team members
- Planning work schedules ahead of time in concurrence with team members and other leaders
