Switzel International is a leading multidisciplinary engineering and design consultancy delivering world-class construction and BIM services across the Middle East and beyond. We are currently hiring **Quantity Surveyors (QS)** across multiple disciplines to support the delivery of high-quality, detailed BOQs for large-scale projects.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **full quantification and detailed take-offs** from drawings for all assigned disciplines.
- **Review and verify client-provided BOQs** against tender drawings, specs, and circulars.
- Identify **missing scope items** and provide breakdowns for composite items.
- Prepare quantity take-off sheets in **Excel**, with cross-referenced **marked-up drawings**.
- Provide **detailed reinforcement breakdowns** by element and diameter (Structural QS only).
- Ensure all BOQ entries follow **measurement methods, codes, and BOQ formats**.
- Respond to and incorporate **tender clarifications**, and demonstrate take-offs when required.
- Submit full documentation including **drawing lists, QA/QC reports**, and BOQs in soft copy.
- Ensure **compliance with project instructions**, QA standards, and submission schedules.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum **5 years of experience** in quantity surveying for large construction projects.
- Proven experience with **BOQ checking, take-offs, and Excel-based documentation**.
- Proficiency in **reading technical drawings**, and working with AutoCAD and PDF sets.
- Strong knowledge of **industry-standard measurement methods** and tender practices.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Prior experience with **Middle East projects** is an added advantage.

**Preferred Tools & Skills**:

- MS Excel (Advanced)
- Bluebeam / AutoCAD
- Revit/Quantity Extraction (preferred)
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures in BOQ preparation
