Many of our Infrastructure Specialists are on a path toward becoming either an Architect or Distinguished Engineer, and there are opportunities at every skill level to grow in either of these directions.

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with the CAST toolset for analyzing COBOL code.
- Proficiency developing in COBOL.
- Strong understanding of **migration strategies**including rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and replacement.
- Ability to assess legacy systems for **technical debt**, integration complexity, and modernization potential.
- Ability to design and implement **API-first architectures**and integrate with modern SaaS platforms.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with platforms like SAP, Oracle, Infor, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, and integration tools.
- Knowledge of **data migration tools and ETL frameworks**(e.g., Azure Data Factory, Talend, Informatica).
- Understanding of **security and compliance**considerations during migration (e.g., data encryption, access controls, GDPR/HIPAA).Strong documentation skills for migration plans, architecture diagrams, and post-migration validation.
