- The role holder will form part of the team supporting Finance Operations for various regions across the globe.
**What you’ll do**:
**Principal Accountabilities KPI and Targets**
**Service Delivery**
**Key Responsibilities-**
- Responsible for clearing funds received into HSBC Bank PLC Bank accounts
- Exposure to Intercompany Reporting i.e. reporting B/S and P/L numbers against various intercompany counterparties.
- Coordinating with the on shore teams to make sure the variances are under group and regulatory threshold limits.
- Hands on experience in various Recharges and Balance sheet reconciliation.
- Account for revenue & expenses in GL for Accruals, actuals and provisions.
- Saracen reporting & Gather returns
- Monthly, quarterly & yearly.
- Review Subsystems for accuracy and ensure reconciling items are researched in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with HSBC standards and Statutory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive changes independently.
- Acquire understanding and handle processes using process methodology as applicable.
- Issues/Problems are investigated and resolved or escalated appropriately
- Achieve established Performance Level Agreements (PLA’s)
- Effective communication and build relationship with Business Partners
**Stakeholder Management**
- Establish and maintain effective relationship with Business Partners and identify areas of service improvements by implementing regular calls and feedback mechanism
- Influence and escalate key process issues in an effective way to ensure timely resolution
- Liaise with in-country counterparts on reporting requirements and developing the same within the timelines agreed
- Ensure support is provided per requirements from in-country counterparts
- Ensure integrity and management of data submission
- Ability to manage trouble shooting/ secondary reviews and understand queries raised by business partner and determine escalation as necessary
**Operational Effectiveness & Control**
- Adherence to Group policies, audit, controls, and compliance requirements including but not limited to Declaration of secrecy, data protection act, health, safety and security, clear desk policy
- To continually assess the operational risks inherent in the processes, taking account of changing operating procedures, staff movements, legal and regulatory requirements, management restructures, and the impact of new technology.
- Effectively drive and manage change, plan business contingency and achieve cross-training
- Ensuring BCP plan is documented, agreed with business partner and tested as per agreed timelines
Requirements

**Skills/Experience Required**
- Qualification - Perusing CA
- Knowledge of Accounts & Finance and affinity for numbers
- Independent and handle multiple tasks with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of analytical skills and ability to grasp complicated functions in short period of time and transfer knowledge appropriately
- Ability to manage customer relationship
- Orientation towards Quality (Six Sigma/Lean methodology) and technical bent of mind
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines
- Self-motivated and good team player
- Should be flexible to stretch and work across shifts
