**Edify World School Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh is hiring PGT English Teacher with 2-6 years experience in similar role with reputed CBSE Schools.**

As a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in English, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language and literature instruction to senior secondary students (grades 11 and 12).

Your role involves creating comprehensive lesson plans, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills, and preparing students for board examinations and future academic pursuits. You will play a key role in enhancing students' command of the English language, appreciation of literature, and overall academic success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**:
Develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum that aligns with educational standards, learning objectives, and board examination requirements.
- Design engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments that cater to the diverse needs and interests of senior secondary students.

**Instruction and Delivery**:
Deliver effective English instruction using a variety of teaching methods, strategies, and resources to engage students and facilitate learning.
- **Student Assessment**:
Assess student progress and proficiency in English through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, including essays, tests, presentations, and projects.
- **Classroom Management**:
Establish and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic achievement and personal growth.

Implement effective classroom management strategies, routines, and procedures to promote student engagement, participation, and discipline.

**Extracurricular Activities**:

- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to English, such as literary clubs, debates, drama productions, and writing competitions.
- **Parent and Community Engagement**:
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, academic performance, and opportunities for growth in English.
- **Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in English or a related field (M.A. in English preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Familiarity with the curriculum and examination requirements of relevant educational boards (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, State Boards).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
