**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point-of-Sale) systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and UPI payments securely.
- Issue invoices, receipts, and refunds where applicable.
- Verify pricing and discounts as per promotional offers or store policies.
- Maintain daily cash register and reconcile cash at the end of shifts.
- Ensure proper packaging and delivery of purchased jewellery to customers.
- Assist with stock management and basic administrative tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Coordinate with the sales and accounts departments for smooth billing operations.
- Report any discrepancies, suspicious activity, or technical issues to the store manager.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting or retail training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a cashier, preferably in the jewellery, luxury retail, or high-value goods industry.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Familiarity with billing software and POS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and well-groomed.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of jewellery types, materials (gold, silver, diamonds), and industry terms.
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., English, Hindi, regional languages).
- Experience in handling high-value transactions with discretion.
