Transport Executive

**Role & responsibilities**
- Hire trailers of various sizes from the market at competitive rates
- Ensure prompt and timely loading, unloading etc., including assigning loading clerks
- Ensure all documentation is done properly and on time
- Manage issues during the delivery process by coordinating with the appropriate people for smooth operations
- Follow progress of vehicles with GPS tracking apps
- Visit fleet owners, brokers etc. and establish / maintain relationships into the long term
- Gather market information that will be useful to the company and report to managers / update the company's ERP
- Should be capable of liaising with customers to update status of shipments over and above what is available through the companys automated systems and alerts
- Experience in traffic operations for trailers / trucks a minimum of 2-3 years
- Ability to speak in the local language as well as reasonable English and Hindi language skills
- Be able to deal with drivers, porters, loaders, unloaders etc.
- Experience in meeting delivery targets
- Polite and ethical behaviour while being firm and decisive in their actions
- Good communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
- Be able to work with computers, custom ERP, MS-Office etc. (PBL uses technology in almost all its workflows and reporting)

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

- Apart from the above, you will need to take multiple online tests, including video recording, during the selection process. Are you ready for this?
- If your posting location is not Vizag, you will be required to sometimes spend upto 3 months in Vizag for training etc. Are you willing to do this?

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Transportation management: 2 years (required)
- Logistics: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Hindi, English (required)

- 50% (preferred)
