Gymnastic Teacher

**Job Title**: Gymnastics Teacher
**Location**: The Golden Spiral School, Parel Mumbai

**Job Purpose**:
To deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate gymnastics instruction to students in accordance with the IGCSE curriculum framework and school values. The teacher will promote physical fitness, safety, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for movement and sportsmanship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver structured gymnastics lessons to students aged 11-16 in line with the IGCSE Physical Education curriculum.
- Design differentiated activities catering to a range of skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Instruct students on safety procedures, proper techniques, and injury prevention.
- Assess student progress using both formative and summative methods and provide feedback.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and IGCSE Physical Education exams, including practical components.
- Organize and supervise gymnastics-related extracurricular clubs, competitions, or events.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and used safely and responsibly.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to school events and community involvement.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Formal training or certification in gymnastics coaching (e.g., FIG, British Gymnastics, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting; experience with IGCSE curriculum preferred.
- Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, safety protocols, and injury management.
- Excellent classroom and behavior management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience in preparing students for IGCSE PE practical assessments.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular and school-wide activities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
