**Role and Responsibilities**
- Architect, design and develop end to end Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution based on Azure platform.
- Provide end-to-end oversight across projects to ensure Data Models and ETL/BI designs align to standards and best practices for achieving maximum consistency, performance and efficiency of the DW/BI ecosystem
- Handle multiple projects in parallel, participate and deliver solution design, working closely with the team.
- Analyze requirements to create technical designs, data models and migration strategies
- Recommend improvements to enhance existing ETL and data integration processes to enable performance and overall scalability
- Sets best practices for data systems development and diligently enforces them across the projects through combination of process, education, training, and sufficient review processes.
- Work with cross functional teams within organization to design and build solutions.
- Evaluate the technology, design of the component/feature and mentor the juniors in the team.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the domain and influence the architecture roadmap.
- Part of latest development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
- Develop both physical and logical data models.
- Analyze all data warehouse architecture goals and identify skill requirement for same.

Qualifications:
**Skillset Must have**
- Must have thorough understanding of providing cloud-based solutions including cloud migrations
- Minimum 2 years of designing and implementing experience building solution on Azure platform using Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, ADF and Power BI.
- Experience in cloud data migration project or building Data warehouse/ Data Lake on Azure Synapse
- Should be very strong on MS SQL Server and MSBI (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS).
- Should have strong knowledge on Azure Synapse dedicated SQL pool and Spark pool
- Must have experience on Azure cloud environments - (ADF, Azure Synapse Analytics, Blob Storage, ADLS, Azure Function, Logic Apps, EventHub etc.)
- Strong hands-on experience in building Data models, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data security, reporting and analytics.
- Good with Power shell scripting and Bash scripting
- Experience in working with data marts and dimensional models (star, snowflake schema)
- Should have a working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
- Must have participated in proposal writing, creating of SOW, estimation, solution prototyping etc.
- Knowledge of Azure components like Azure Security Components (Key Vault, Azure active directory), Azure Pricing
- Must have participated in conducting POCs in new technologies
- Very comfortable using GIT version control tool
- Demonstrate ability to architect cost effective cloud based secure and scalable solution

- Holds an academic degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 10 to 12+ years of working relevant experience
- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.
- Experience in working in Agile scrum teams.

**Experience**
- Ability to handle change and be open to it along with good time management and an able to work under stress
- Respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers
- Experience in development and performance optimization of ETL/ ELT solutions, Database server, Database objects and cloud services
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in migrating on-premises solutions and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels
- Creative problem-solving skills and superb communication skills.
