Architect - Datacenter & Private Cloud

**About the role**:

We’re searching for a talented and passionate Architect having expertise on private cloud and datacenter to join our CoE - Managed IT Services delivery team, which is responsible for remotely managing, securing and supporting Cloud & IT infrastructure for our customers around the world.

This is a customer-facing role, you will be responsible to manage LLDs, design blueprint and other technical documentation during post-sales operations phase. You will manage complex changes, upgrades, design changes, optimization, implementations. You will analyze day-to-day operational activities, datacenter and cloud infrastructure health & performance data and identify opportunity for improvement. You will be responsible to advise customers on technology evolution and support in creating technology roadmap.

Job Responsibilities:

- Own all the architecture and design documentations for the customer and maintain up-to-date during the entire lifecycle of the service contract
- Responsible for all post-sales architecture and design activities during the entire lifecycle of the service contract
- In-charge of the correct engineering of the technical solutions deployed for the customer
- In-charge of day to day operations issues impacting customer’s business
- Identify solutions when major incidents impacting the customer’s business occurs
- Ensure coherence among the different customer service blocks (data, security, voice, video, datacenter, cloud, etc.).
- Analyze the impact of all operational and technical decisions keeping in mind the best interest of the customer and of Orange Business Services (maintenance, evolution, costs etc.)
- Accountable for complex technical change management validation and provide technical support for major & complex changes
- Assess the feasibility of the technical solution from the operational perspective in close cooperation the pre-sales consultants during the pre-sales phase
- Contribute to technical proposals in pre-sales phase (LoE, feasibility)
- Accountable to ensure that the technical solutions proposed are implementable and operable
- Contributes to the effort of knowledge management (methodology documentation, knowledge sharing through presentations, training, mentoring)

Qualifications & Work Experience:

- BE/B.Tech/MCA/ B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science)
- Should have either Dell Storage architect, VxRail, VMware certification
- Should have HCI/VMware, backup/storage certification
- CCIE/CCNP datacenter or equivalent
- Experience in managing large scale IT infrastructure, datacenter, cloud support operation
- Experience of design, build and manage datacenter and cloud solutions.
- Experience in datacenter and Cloud migration
- Experience on cloud security and compliance
- Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps principles
- Experience working with some or all technologies below:

Dell Storage / NetApp
- VxRail/ Hyperflex/
- VMware / Hyper-V
- Networker/Avamar/Veeam etc.
- Terraform / Aviatrix
- AD/DNS/DHCP/ADFS/PKI
- Docker containers, Kubernetes

Skill Set:

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent in creating service review and management reports
- Good analytical skills and ability to identity trends
- Ability to lead customer facing communication
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to document technical information for training, technical operations run books, and knowledgebase
- Knowledge of IT service manage standards
- Knowledge of information security standards and compliance
- Understanding and experience in working within an ITIL framework operational environment
