Metallurgist - Female

Location: Marai Malai Nagar.

Department: Metallurgy.

Salary (CTC) : 25K to 30K

Reports to: CEO

Job Description:

- Monitor and control **forging process parameters** to ensure desired material properties (grain flow, strength, hardness, etc.).
- Supervise and validate **heat treatment operations** (normalizing, annealing, & tempering, etc.).
- Conduct **metallurgical testing and analysis**, including microstructure analysis, hardness testing, tensile testing, impact testing, and grain size evaluation.
- Review and interpret **material test reports (MTRs)** and ensure compliance with standards such as ASTM, ASME, ISO, or customer-specific requirements.
- Participate in **failure analysis** and suggest corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams for **process improvements** and troubleshooting metallurgical issues.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to **material specifications**, **process control**, and **quality compliance**.
- Provide technical support during **new product development** (NPD) related to material selection and forging feasibility.
