Job Summary:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Furniture Creation**:

- Design and craft sofas and other upholstered furniture based on customer specifications or company designs.
- Measure, cut, and sew fabrics or leathers to fit custom frames and cushions.

**2. Repair & Restoration**:

- Repair and restore damaged or worn-out sofas and furniture.
- Replace or reinforce padding, springs, fabrics, and internal structures as needed.
- Refinish wooden frames and legs to restore their original luster and function.

**3. Client Collaboration**:

- Work closely with clients to understand their furniture needs, preferences, and style choices.
- Provide recommendations on fabrics, materials, and design options to meet their expectations.
- Ensure timely delivery of custom projects within agreed-upon deadlines.

**4. Material Management**:

- Select and source materials such as fabrics, leather, foam, springs, and other upholstery items.
- Ensure material quality and availability for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Keep inventory of upholstery materials and tools.

**5. Precision & Quality Control**:

- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship with a focus on attention to detail in sewing, stitching, and pattern alignment.
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure the furniture meets client expectations and company quality standards.

**6. Tool Use & Maintenance**:

- Safely and effectively use various hand and power tools including staplers, sewing machines, upholstery needles, cutting tools, and more.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 2 experience in upholstery, furniture making, or a related field.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of various upholstery materials including fabric, leather, foam, and wood.
- Proficient in handcrafting and working with sewing machines, cutting tools, and upholstery equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret design sketches or client requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
