Pgt Chemistry Teacher

We are seeking a passionate, highly motivated, and skilled **Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) of Chemistry** to join our dedicated teaching team. As a PGT Chemistry, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in chemistry to senior secondary students (Classes 11 and 12), preparing them for board exams, and fostering a deep understanding of scientific principles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Curriculum Delivery**:

- Teach chemistry at the senior secondary level (Class 11 and 12) as per the curriculum prescribed by [CBSE/ICSE/State Board, or relevant curriculum].
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments to facilitate the academic growth of students.
- Promote a hands-on learning environment using practical experiments and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive, disciplined, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Establish and enforce clear rules and expectations for student behavior.
- **Assessments and Evaluation**:

- Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Grade assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and performance.
- **Student Guidance and Support**:

- Provide academic support to students, addressing individual learning needs and challenges.
- Organize extra-curricular activities or tutoring sessions to reinforce key concepts.
- Assist in career counseling and college admissions related to science fields.
- **Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate cross-disciplinary teaching strategies.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
- **Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and reports.
- Participate in functions, open houses, parent-teacher meetings, and other related events.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in chemistry, teaching methods, and educational technologies.
- Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and training sessions to continually improve teaching practices.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from a recognized university.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience as a PGT or in a similar role.
- Experience in teaching senior secondary classes, preferably at the board exam level.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong command of chemistry concepts and the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in classroom management and student engagement techniques.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of educational technology and the use of digital tools in the classroom.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and fellow staff.

Pay: ₹9,308.35 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 6 per week
