Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Junior Space and Art Designer to join our dynamic

interior design team. As a Junior Space and Art Designer, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our

Principal Interior Designer in conceptualizing and executing captivating interior spaces that blend

functionality with artistic flair.

Key Responsibilities:

- Creative Concept Development: Collaborate with the design team to develop creative and

imaginative interior concepts that align with client preferences, project objectives, and industry

trends.
- Vendor Coordination: One can take charge of coordinating with various vendors, managing

orders, deliveries, and maintaining positive relationships. This includes furniture suppliers, fabric

manufacturers, lighting providers, and other relevant partners.
- Market Survey: Can conduct market research to identify emerging design trends, potential

competitors, and new suppliers. They can also analyze customer preferences and feedback to

help inform your design decisions.
- Technical Specifications (AutoCAD and SketchUp): One should possess proficient skills in

AutoCAD and SketchUp, allowing them to create technical drawings, 2D/3D renderings, and

detailed design plans based on your concepts and ideas.
- Material Samples and Library Management: They must be capable to organize and maintain a

physical library of material samples, finishes, and catalogs. This ensures quick access to various

options during client meetings and design presentations.
- Quality Control and Assurance: They must participate in quality control checks during project

implementation to ensure that the design specifications and standards are being met by

contractors and suppliers.
- Sustainability and Eco-Friendly Practices: One should research and recommend sustainable and

eco-friendly design solutions, materials, and practices that align with your firm's values and client

preferences.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: They should be resourceful and capable of handling

unexpected challenges that may arise during projects, finding viable solutions, and coordinating

with relevant parties to resolve issues.
- Outstation Project Support: As you may take on projects outside your primary location, you

should be willing to travel for site visits, client meetings, and on-site project coordination when

needed.
- Team Collaboration: If you have other designers or team members, you should facilitate

effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure smooth project

workflows.

Qualifications and Skills:

- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong artistic sensibility and an eye for visual aesthetics and art curation.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the design team, clients, and

vendors.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Passionate about design, with a desire to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
- Demonstrated creativity and a portfolio showcasing innovative design ideas and projects.
