Key Responsibilities: - ** Requirement Gathering**: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify data sources, and define reporting requirements for data warehousing solutions. - ** Data Modeling**: Design and build data models within Datasphere and BW/4HANA, including dimension and fact tables, to optimize data access and analysis. - ** Data Extraction and Transformation (ETL)**: Develop ETL processes using Datasphere to extract data from various source systems, cleanse, transform, and load it into the data warehouse. - ** Reporting Development**: Create comprehensive reports and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other visualization tools, leveraging data from the data warehouse to provide insights. - ** Performance Optimization**: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure efficient data processing and query execution. - ** Data Quality Management**: Establish data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the data warehouse. - ** Implementation and Deployment**: Deploy data warehouse solutions, including configuration, testing, and user training. - ** Technical Support**: Provide technical support to users on data warehouse queries, reporting issues, and system maintenance. **Required Skills**: - ** Proficient in SAP BW/4HANA and Datasphere**: Deep understanding of data modeling, data extraction, transformation, and loading functionalities within the platform. - ** Data Warehousing Concepts**: Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, data mart design, and data quality best practices. - ** Reporting and Visualization Tools**: Expertise in using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other visualization tools to create interactive reports and dashboards. - ** SQL and Programming Skills**: Proficiency in SQL queries and potentially scripting languages like ABAP to manipulate and extract data. - ** Business Acumen**: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and understand key business metrics. - ** Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present technical concepts clearly.
