**Assessment & Evaluation**
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients’ physical, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities.
- Assess needs in areas such as self-care, mobility, school/work tasks, play, and social participation.
- **Therapeutic Intervention**
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Use purposeful activities and exercises to improve motor skills, sensory integration, coordination, and adaptive behavior.
- Recommend and train in the use of assistive devices, splints, or adaptive techniques.
- **Functional Training**
- Teach strategies to enhance independence in daily activities such as dressing, feeding, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients in developing skills for school participation, vocational tasks, or home management.
- **Caregiver & Family Education**
- Educate families, teachers, and caregivers on therapy goals, home programs, and handling techniques.
- Provide support and counseling to manage expectations and promote inclusion.
- **Documentation & Progress Monitoring**
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, goals, and outcomes.
- Monitor client progress and update intervention plans accordingly.
- **Collaboration**
- Work in coordination with physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, educators, and doctors.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, IEPs (for school settings), and case reviews.
- **Awareness & Capacity Building**
- Conduct training programs, awareness drives, and workshops on occupational therapy and inclusive practices.
