**Responsibilities**:

- Configure and install network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls (Sophos Firewall), load balancers, and VPNs.
- Perform regular maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor network performance, system availability, and reliability, and ensure optimal system resource utilization and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with the security team to select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain network performance by building net configurations, troubleshooting network problems, and managing IP address auditing.
- Design system configurations, direct system installations, and define, document, and enforce system standards.
- Maximize performance by troubleshooting network problems, managing outages, and scheduling upgrades.
- Work with network architects on network optimization, configure routers, and update data servers and network equipment.
- Secure the network system by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access controls.
- Keep job knowledge up to date by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and engaging in professional organizations.
- Accomplish information systems and organizational missions by completing related tasks as needed.

**Required Skills & Knowledge**:

- Skills in managing including **firewall Configuration & Management,** **database replication, and Sophos configuration, Routing & Networking.**
- Expertise in network design and implementation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.
- Manage and track budget expenses related to network and system administration.
- Skills in project management, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong documentation skills for creating and maintaining system documentation.
- Deep understanding of Local Area Networks (LAN) and their configuration.
- Proficiency in configuring network hardware and performance tuning.
