**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning & Delivery**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver structured and engaging lessons in Mathematics to middle and senior school students.
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies, including lectures, hands-on activities, problem-solving exercises, and group discussions, to cater to different learning styles.
- Teach a range of mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, calculus, and more, based on the curriculum.
- **Curriculum Implementation**:

- Follow the prescribed school curriculum, ensuring content is delivered effectively and comprehensively.
- Modify lessons to accommodate different student needs, adapting teaching methods and resources as required.
- Incorporate real-world examples to demonstrate the relevance of mathematics in everyday life.
- **Assessment & Feedback**:

- Regularly assess student understanding through quizzes, assignments, written tests, and oral presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their work, guiding them toward academic improvement.
- Track and maintain accurate records of student performance, including grades and feedback.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish a disciplined and positive classroom environment conducive to learning and student participation.
- Employ effective classroom management strategies to maintain student focus and engagement during lessons.
- Address behavioral issues promptly and fairly, ensuring students are respectful and actively involved in the learning process.
- **Student Support & Engagement**:

- Offer additional support to students struggling with mathematical concepts through remedial sessions or one-on-one attention.
- Encourage students to engage in math-related extracurricular activities such as math clubs, competitions, and Olympiads.
- Foster a growth mindset, motivating students to take on challenges and improve their problem-solving skills.
- **Parental Communication**:

- Maintain open and transparent communication with parents about student progress, behavior, and any areas of concern.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss students’ academic development and suggest ways to enhance learning at home.
- Provide regular updates on assignments, assessments, and class activities.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in mathematics education and teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes in mathematics.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field; B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification is required.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics at the middle or senior school level.
- **Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in mathematics, with a thorough understanding of both basic and advanced concepts.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical ideas in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to inspire students.
- Familiarity with using educational technology and digital tools in the classroom is an advantage.
