**Job description**:
We are looking for a permanent, full-time Librarian who can join the school immediately. They will be responsible for managing the school library and providing resources and support to students and staff. Your role is essential in promoting literacy, fostering a love for reading, and supporting the educational goals of the school.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the school library, including circulation, cataloging, and shelving of materials.
- Develop and maintain an organized and user-friendly library space conducive to learning and research.
- Manage the library budget, including purchasing books, periodicals, and digital resources within allocated funds.
- Ensure compliance with library policies and procedures, including loan periods, overdue fines, and use of library facilities.
- Manage and maintain library technology resources, including computers, printers, and online databases.
- Assist students and staff in accessing and utilizing digital resources and research tools effectively.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and educational trends to enhance library services and resources.
- Help students to conduct research to evaluate search results and reference materials
- Understand general library practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Studies preferred).
- Should have excellent English communication skills
- Should have **atleast 3 years** of experience as a School Librarian; Proven experience working in a library or educational setting.
- **Proficiency in library management systems** and digital resources.
- Strong knowledge of library principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
