Qc Chemist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Chemical Analysis**: Perform chemical testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished masterbatch products using a variety of analytical techniques and instruments.
- **Quality Inspections**: Conduct quality inspections to ensure that masterbatch products meet specified standards and requirements, including color, dispersion, and physical properties.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of all test results, quality inspections, and relevant documentation to comply with quality control protocols.
- **Troubleshooting**: Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues, deviations, and non-conformance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- **Calibration and Maintenance**: Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to maintain accuracy and reliability of test results.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance procedures.
- **Report Generation**: Prepare quality control reports summarizing test results and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- **Communication**: Effectively communicate quality issues and findings to relevant departments and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience as a QC Chemist or in a related quality control role within the plastic masterbatch manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of chemical testing methods, instrumentation, and laboratory techniques.
- Familiarity with color matching and dispersion analysis is a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.
- Understanding of quality control procedures and best practices.
