ROLE SUMMARY

Description


Key

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Sharepoint, etc.
- Gather, understand, and translate business requirements into data models and reporting solutions.
- Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Connect Power BI to various data sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Optimize Power BI reports for performance, usability, and scalability.
- Create and maintain complex DAX calculations, measures, and data visualizations to enhance report functionality.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define KPIs, design data-driven solutions, and support reporting needs.
- Ensure adherence to data governance standards and maintain documentation of reporting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Operations, to ensure data consistency across the organization.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Defining / Identifying KPIs through AI suggestions.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Experience
- 8 to 10 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting roles.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience in working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and data warehouses.
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and techniques.
- Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
- Experience in handling large datasets and ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present clear insights.
- Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus

Nice to Have:

- Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView, or Looker).
- Exposure to Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Azure SQL).
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
- Experience in working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools.
- Certifications in Microsoft Power BI or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
