Location - Any DXC India Location (Noida, Gurgaon, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad)
- Knowledge on standard attributes of legacy eServers and POWER servers.
- Server Build - LPAR creation, server configuration, HMC management.
- Disaster Recovery - Handling periodic DR using backup tape and HA tools.
- Network - Network configuration within iSeries.
- Migration - Data Backup & Restore (using native and BRMS), Network settings within iSeries.
- Operating System - OS & PTF (patch) Installation, version upgrade and maintenance.
- System Firmware, HMC and related software upgrade activities on periodic interval.
- Security - Security Management using System supplied tools and System Auditing.
- Backup/Restoration - Planning, Designing, implementing, managing the Backup/Restoration process using native, BRMS, Robot tool and handling tape management.
- Capacity Planning - Capacity reporting & planning, Performance tuning & analysis which helps timely upgrades, enhancements in order to meet the growing demands.
- User profile management - Creation, Deletion, Modification, handling authorities and groups for new user profiles according to job responsibilities.
- Writers - Standard Printing and Spool manipulation, Local & Remote writers.
- Scheduling - Standard Job Scheduler, Advanced Job Scheduler (AJS), Robot Schedule.
- HA Tools - Handling of replication tools like Mimix, iTera, OMS/ODS, PowerHA, Quick-EDD.
- Automation - Event management & monitoring tools - Robot, MPLUS, Halcyon.
- System Management through Operations Navigator.
- Monitoring - Work management, Batch jobs, Backups, server performance.
- Journaling - Implementation of journals as per business requirement and managing audit journals.
- Assist Manager / Supervisor / Team Lead in the execution of Business Continuity testing for Applications.
- Able to assist in AS400 architecture build and solutioning.
- To participate in developing infra level standards and procedures with respect to client environment.
- Mentor, train juniors, knowledge sharing and work as a team.
- Produce Monthly Service reports / Project Dashboard for enhanced customer engagement.
- Skill on automation / innovation idea.
- To manage direct client interaction on account related technical discussion.
