Solution Architect- Banking

**Solution Architect**

**Location : Remote: India Only**

**Shift: 9 am to 6 pm UAE**

**Duration: 4 Months**

**Job Purpose**
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate architecture patterns, tools, and platforms for new and existing solutions.
- Create architecture artifacts such as solution blueprints, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration designs, and interface contracts.
- Ensure architectural governance by participating in design reviews and architecture boards.
- Work with cross-functional teams including business, development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and modular solution designs.
- Create detailed solution architecture documents including logical, physical, integration, and deployment views.
- Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, security, reliability, scalability) are properly addressed.
- Review & document, if proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives to validate emerging technologies or solution approaches.
- Provide recommendations for buy vs build decisions based on feasibility and cost-benefit analysis.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure that the solution architecture supports continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Address security aspects such as data encryption, access control, and identity management in the architecture.
- Present architecture proposals and review outcomes to architecture governance boards and executive stakeholders.
- Identify architectural risks and define mitigation strategies early in the project lifecycle.
- Capture and document architecture decisions made during critical meetings, workshops, and design discussions.
- Maintain an architecture decision log or repository (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint tools) for traceability and audit purposes.

- Present Solution designs and seek approval in Architecture review boards
- Should be strong in solution design.
- Conduct and drive POC’s.
- Derive Blueprints, High Level Design (HLD) and Noting’s to Solutions

**Educational Qualifications**
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) are preferred.

**Preferred Industry Experience**
- Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech.
- Prior experience in large-scale banking transformation or modernization programs.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Proven experience in banking and financial services, particularly in areas such as Core Banking, Payments, Digital Banking, Lending, and Channels.
- Strong understanding of banking business processes and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience in designing solutions using integration tools (e.g., IBM Integration Bus & IBM API Gateway) and messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka, MQ).
- Familiarity with security protocols and data protection standards in banking environments (e.g., OAuth2, TLS, PKI, DLP).
- Cloud architecture experience (Azure, AWS,or GCP) with hybrid integration knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiar with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or BIAN.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
