**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a **Design Engineer** with at least **2 years** of experience in **Solid Edge** and **sheet metal fabrication**. In this role, you will design and develop products with a focus on sheet metal components, ensuring manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and model sheet metal components and assemblies using **Solid Edge** CAD software.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable using sheet metal fabrication techniques (e.g., cutting, bending, welding, punching).
- Conduct design reviews and modifications to meet product specifications and manufacturing standards.
- Create detailed technical drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and other documentation for manufacturing.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design or production issues related to sheet metal components.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve designs and manufacturing processes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum **2 years** of experience as a Design Engineer, specifically with **Solid Edge** and **sheet metal fabrication**.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in **Solid Edge** CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of **sheet metal fabrication processes** (e.g., bending, punching, welding).
- Ability to create accurate technical drawings and designs.
- **Communication**: Good verbal and written communication skills to work with teams and suppliers.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in the **manufacturing industry** (e.g., automotive, industrial products).
- Familiarity with **manufacturing processes** and **material selection** for sheet metal parts.
