Job Summary: The VMC Setter is responsible for setting up and operating vertical machining centers to produce high-quality precision components according to engineering drawings or specifications. The Setter will be responsible for selecting appropriate tooling, programming the machine, and monitoring the machining process to ensure adherence to quality and productivity standards. The Setter will also troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to machine setup or operation. 4 Brief Scope of Job As a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Setter, your role is crucial in the manufacturing process, where you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components based on engineering drawings and specifications. 5 Responsibilities: Set up and operate vertical machining centers to produce precision components based on engineering drawings or specifications. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices for each job. Program the machine using G-code or other programming languages as required. Load and unload workpieces onto/from the machine and secure them properly. Monitor the machining process to ensure quality and productivity standards are met. Make adjustments to machine settings, tooling, or programming as necessary to achieve desired results. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine setup or operation, such as tool wear, part quality issues, or machine malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes. Collaborate with other team members, such as machinists, engineers, and quality control personnel, to ensure smooth production flow. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area. 7 Knowledge Previous experience as a VMC Setter or similar role in a manufacturing or machining environment. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and programming languages (such as G-code). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Knowledge of machine setup, tooling selection, and programming for vertical machining centers. Familiarity with various types of cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine setup or operation. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic computer skills for programming and machine operation. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment. Knowledge of safety guidelines and ability to follow them diligently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
