As an Editor at Pepper, you will get the opportunity to work on a diverse range of written content from different industry domains and collaborate with a wide pool of content creators from the comfort of your home. Further, our creator-friendly policies and support system will allow you to sharpen your skills and work within an exciting and fulfilling ecosystem.

**Responsibilities**:

- Edit and proofread assignments following the client’s guidelines to the highest quality standards.
- Provide comprehensive feedback and suggestions to writers with a strong focus on timelines and quality.
- Ensure the content is plagiarism-free by running it through premium plagiarism detection software
- Identify and flag articles that do not meet Pepper’s quality standards
- Actively engage in quality assurance and performance review processes.
- Have an excellent command of the English language and a sharp eye for detail
- Have at least two years of experience in content editing and proofreading documents from a variety of industries and domains
- Have thorough knowledge of copy editing and proofreading best practices
- Have strong research and organizational skills
- Be able to take up challenging and time-sensitive editorial tasks and deliver the same without compromising on quality
- Be willing to learn independently and improve upon their skills by attending regular training workshops and acting upon feedback
- Be available to work for 4-5 hours a day for 3 to 7 days a week on a contractual basis from any remote location

Editors would be expected to regularly attend briefings, training, and feedback meetings with their team leaders and Managing Editors at Pepper.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
