**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- This role will have the pivot SC responsibility for all MR programs in India region - NPIs, manufacturing transfers, repair and region projects
- Lead transfer activities to deliver NPIs, transfer programs, repair and region projects - with best quality, on-time, with right cost performance. Ensure early focus on manufacturability in NPI programs. Drive rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development and QMS Design Transfer execution.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance through the full cycle of transfer including qualification & validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance.
- Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and product design.
- Ensure the use of Six Sigma and Lean for continuous improvement and in new product programs.
- Monitor and improve productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely and cost-conscious manner.
- Prime interface with Engineering on development and demonstrator programs. Define and execute roles, responsibilities and processes to achieve overall program goals on cost and to schedule. Focal for all aspects of program communication and reviews with Supply Chain leadership.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- These sales jobs will mainly be individual contributors.
A job at this level requires strong interpersonal skills. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

**Quality Specific Requirement**:

- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Knowledge and understanding of document control, design transfer, verification, validation, acceptance activity, DMR, DHR and electronic signature requirements to ensure that product, equipment, tools, processes, software, training and documentation meet requirements.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent
- 9+ years of experience with proven leadership in manufacturing, supply chain role or engineering leadership role with strong manufacturing engineering and Program Management experience
- Exposure towards NPI (New Product Introduction) or transfer programs
