Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students to understand their educational background, aspirations, and career goals.
- Assess students' academic profiles, interests, and skills to recommend suitable educational programs and institutions abroad.
- Advise students on standardized tests (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, GMAT,SAT) and provide resources for test preparation.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in international education, admission requirements, scholarships, and visa regulations.
- Conduct workshops and seminars on various aspects of studying abroad, including admission processes, scholarship opportunities, and cultural adaptation.
- Collaborate with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to gather information about their programs, admission criteria, and scholarship options.
- Foster relationships with partner organizations and alumni networks to facilitate student placements and networking opportunities.
- Conduct follow-up sessions with students who have secured admission to ensure a smooth transition and address any concerns or queries they may have.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while handling student information and sensitive data.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and participate in recruitment events, both on and off-campus.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, counseling, international relations). A master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in student counseling, preferably in the field of international education or study abroad consultancy.
- In-depth knowledge of the global higher education landscape, including admission processes, scholarship opportunities, and visa regulations.
- Familiarity with standardized tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, GMAT,SAT and the ability to guide students in test preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues, universities, and other stakeholders.
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the challenges faced by students studying abroad, along with the ability to provide support and guidance.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address student concerns and navigate complex situations.
