**DPP - Data Inventory Admin**

**Why we need you.**

We are looking for an experienced Data BS/Admin. They will be responsible for identifying, scanning, and validating data elements within MassMutuals Structured and Unstructured Data Stores. This person will be encouraged to be results driven, detail oriented, self starter, exercising leadership working both independently and within the Data Purpose & Protection team to understand, research, determine, document, and communicate direction.

**What you will work on?**
- Restricted and Confidential data identification within different solutions, data sources, systems, and data depositories.
- Metadata analysis for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Identify and communicate with data owners (SMEs) against sources of records and directories.
- Help define prioritization, execution, and analysis of BigID scan outputs.
- Lead efforts to validate, document, and confirm outputs from scans with respective data owners.
- Use data visualization tools to communicate incremental progress.
- Continually look within and beyond their job, anticipating business needs and opportunities.

**The skills that make you a great fit.**
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or associated discipline preferred
- 5 years of experience in data protection and information security
- Hands on experience with data protection security tools from an administrative perspective, implementing, upgrading, designing solutions, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with Data Classification, and Data Elements
- Familiarity with DLP.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations, information security industry standards
- Good understanding of data classification standards and controls requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to problem solve with little to no supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Looks for and finds ways to improve operations
